I love Dance, Music & Maths.

Soo Mee has always had a passion for music, ever since she started playing the violin as a little child. It wasn’t until later she got inspired by dance and theatre and so she started taking dance classes several times a week. Soo Mee’s love for dance grew stronger and she decided to continue her training professionally at the Amsterdam University of the Arts - from which she successfully graduated in 2017. Over the last few years she got commited to different theatre companies, both on stage and behind the scenes. Soo Mee is one of the dancers for the "Vlaams Muziek Theater", she started performing with "Theater Tol" in 2017 and she is an active member of music(al) theatre company "De Speling". Apart from choreographing musicals such as "SHOUT!", “Sisters of Swing – The Story of the Andrew Sisters”, "My Fair Lady" and "Stepping Out", she also assists in direction and she takes part in the entire productions process. So - last spring 2018 - the musical adventure "Madagascar" premiered as her first production as director and choreographer; and this year, apart from choreographing and performing "Cabaret", she also stayed close to the entire production process as assistant-director.
Soo Mee teaches mostly contemporary classes. Due to the different artistic projects she had to give up her weekly classes, though there are still some projects with youngsters and workshops on the schedule.
She also choreographes her own work #SooMotion. In Amsterdam, Soo Mee discoverd her passion for creating fysical dance theatre, and by working out her second piece "The Cube", she found her identity as a young choreographer. "What's on your mind" and "Where's the revolution" followed the years after, each contributing to the development of her own style and signature.

The Land of Smiles is a romantic operetta in three acts by Franz Lehár. This was one of Lehár's later works, and has a bittersweet ending which the Viennese loved. The title refers to the supposed Chinese custom of smiling, whatever happens in life.@ CC Zwanenberg, Heist-op-den-Berg & tour Tickets
Kruisem, summer holidays. Blinker and Nelle are about to meet again, finally - after a year of letter writing. It starts out as a quiet summer, untill the Baroness dies.
